In 1984, William D. Godfrey created Godfrey Roofing Inc. to help pay for his education in the Political Science
Department at Carleton University. At that time, he focused on the residential re-shingling market. He then set his sights
on the flat roofing market which lead to commercial business. Mr. Godfrey has been able to succeed in the roofing industry
through his work ethic, his focus on quality and his emphasis on customer satisfaction. With the acquisition of key
personnel in the office as well as on the roof, Mr. Godfrey and his company are ready to serve the Ottawa Carleton Region
into the next millenium.

Gary J. Diack

Gary has been with Godfrey Roofing Inc. since the fall of 1995. The knowledge he brings to the company
comes from being in the roofing industry since 1974, in which, he has worked on all roofing
systems in both commercial and residential applications. Using his experience gained from being a
licensed sheet metal worker, shingler and working on flat roof systems, Gary has the ability to find
and solve all of your roofing problems with cost efficient solutions and recommendations. Due to
the complexities of some residential roofing problems, Gary has made residential estimates his
specialty and looks forward to working with you to solve your roofing needs.
Gary is also the Quality Assurance Manager which enables him to ensure that Godfrey Roofing Inc.
maintains and improves on the requirements and standards of ISO 9001:2000.

Since Graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 1988 Jim has worked in the construction industry. Jim has been with
Godfrey Roofing Since 1996. His exceptional knowledge of construction enables him to provide detailed estimates that help
improve the way your roof functions. Jim is more than willing to answer all you roofing questions, to help you make an
informed decision.

Mike van Berkel

Starting in in the roofing industry in 1986, Mike has progressed through the ranks - labourer, shingle installer,
tinsmith, estimator and commercial estimator. His knowledge of roofing, computer application and the completion of auto-cad
courses at Algonquin College, have allowed him to fill the position of commercial estimator. Along with his commercial
estimating duties, Mike also aids the company by helping in the daily office activities.

Nick is a graduate of the Architectural Technology Program at Algonquin College. Using his knowledge
of building sciece he has been providing roofing solutions for both residential and commercial applications.

Krista van Berkel

Krista has graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. She worked
as the Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a small construction firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia prior to moving to Ottawa where
she worked for a major roofing supplier. From there, she came to Godfrey Roofing Inc. to take her place as the Office
Manager.
