Ventilation is essential to a properly functioning roofing system. In Photo 1, new baffles are being installed in a cathedral ceiling to provide proper ventilation from the soffit up to the Maximum Ventilator.

The installation of an ice and water membrane over the roof deck and up the walls and skylight curbs gives extra protection against water back-up under the shingles, as shown in Photos 2 and 3.
